The Russian Did it

Russia, Russia, Russia! We have all heard it on tv, radio, read it online, newspapers. The media and the democrats obsession to tie President Trump with collusion with Russia. Even now there is still no evidence that Trump had any collusion with Russia. Still the media and democrats will not drop the matter and hoping evidence will appear out of thin air. I will not bore you with details cause am sure this make news across globe to where there freedom of the press.
Why the obsession with Russia? Why are Americans so desperate in making Russia the “Bad Guy”, the enemy, and why now? Yes! these are the two toughest kids on the block and have been close to all out war with each other. Maybe our obsession with Russia lays within our culture and society. We are influenced that Russia is the bad guy, the number one enemy that the United states needs to defeat. This influence doesn’t come from education, nor is taught in home, but by the entertainment industry. Hollywood notion to depict Russia as the ultimate enemy for the United states and to the rest of the free world. Movies that are created to entertain us with action and scenarios of war, are only to stereotype the Russia government and people. The world fear the Russians and it only the United States who can defeat them. The movie clips below are a few examples of movies where it the United States vs Russians.

The Storm before the calm

It been three days since Donald Trump was elected president of the United States. I would have never thought that there would be a storm before the calm. People protesting the election results, people saying,”he not my president”, it just crazy.  I would have thought that once the election were done, things would return to norm.  People would be relieved that, hey it finally over, everyone would be thankful that elections, the debate, the brain washing from the media was over.  Time to start a new chapter, to give the man, the president elect, Donald Trump a chance.

I understand that people fear the future, they fear change. I am one that also scared of change and what lies ahead, but it time for a change.  The democratic process our founding father created allows for us to elect a leader. It gives the people of this country a voice, that voice echo in our vote.  The people voiced that they wanted change, they want someone to steer this ship, the United States of American in a new direction.  That what happen late Tuesday into earlier Wednesday morning.  The citizen of this country spoke. Now if you disrespect that process, what good is it to having a democratic society?  Day after day people were told, register to vote, go out and vote.  If you didn’t that your fault, your vote could have made a difference.

Who ever you voted for, Trump, Hillary or a Independent, it time to move. Turn off the TV, staying away from social media, staying away from where you will see and hear about the election.  Take time to decompress, take a walk, read a book, do something that will get you back into a normal routine.

Daily Prompt: Naked with Black Socks

Naked with Black Socks

Are you comfortable in front of people, or does the idea of public speaking make you want to hide in the bathroom? Why?

If you ever met me in person, probably the first impression you would get that am a reserved person, somewhat shy being around people and for sure wouldn’t be the one you would see doing public speaking.  Well am always filled with surprises and awhile public speaking is always a nervous nail-biting sweating palms moment, I’ve learned just to deal with it.

Of course I would rather be somewhere else, but when it comes to public speaking I always images myself in a dance club, dancing. When you are at dance club and dancing, you ignore the other people who aren’t dancing and may be watching you. I’ve tried this many time and it works for me.  O yes I enjoy dancing especially salsa and have no trouble dancing in front of people in public place.  I’ve also done a dance performance in front of a large audience to.

“One you master the art of facing a room full of teenagers, and come out alive, you can do anything.”

If you think public speaking is tough, you might want to re-think that.  Speaking in front of a room of teenagers, that 6th, 7th, and 8th grades is a challenge.  I know because I was a substitute teacher for two years. So if you are one who afraid of public speaking, speaking in front of teenagers is much worst. Teenagers who are watching you like a hawk, judging you not by how you speak, but your appearance and any other flaw they see.

My advice to you if you are afraid of public speaking and no matter whether you will do it in your professional career or personally take a class that deals with public speaking.  I did and took several classes where I had to do class presentation. It will challenge you and get comfortable speaking in front of people.  The only way to over come your fear is by confronting it and engaging in it.

Writing 101: Your Personality on the Page

Anxieties, worries, and fear, oh my!! I will admit, there are several thing that scare me, I fear of, and have anxieties. I think right now “LIFE” is my biggest fear, anxiety, and what scare me.  It not what ahead that scares me, it being afraid will my life have any direction and fiber in it. At this point in my life, my struggle is finding full-time employment.  At the moment I feel that my life is at a pause because I can’t find full-time employment.
Am doing everything in my power to find a job, but at a certain point you have no control over it.

The fact is, am not getting any younger and awhile am still young, there are things I would like to be doing at this point.  I fear that without employment, will I ever be fully independent.  Independent as in owning a home, having a car which I’ve never had, being able to travel, being able to support a family in the future.  I know I shouldn’t compare my life to other people, but when seeing friends posting things about their travels, starting a family, advancing their career, I feel that am way behind the game. In my head am thinking, will the wheels in my life ever start moving. I guess that why I am slowly defriended people on Facebook, to stop compare my life to other.

As for if my life will have any fiber in it, will I ever find a soul mate or will I live a life being solo. Being single has it advantages, but I really don’t want to be single all my life.  Not only do I fear of being alone, but will I ever have a family and be able to support one.  I always wonder what type of husband and father I would be if I every started my own family.
